We are starting to learn about clay and sculpture. The younger grades are starting out with a video and some experimentation. Kindergarten (shown above) first works with modeling clay before starting with clay that comes from the earth.
We will be starting to make our clay projects very soon. However, it will be many months until they come home. The construction, drying, firing and glazing of clay is a very time consuming process. Please be patient waiting for the clay projects to come home. It will be worth the wait!
